Jacob and I cut out and sanded the block with my limited tools. I hadn't worked on a Pinewood Derby car since I was about 10.
Kristy and Jacob did the painting.
Jacob was the proud owner of his wanna-be Nascar.
Sister Millhone was in charge and she had the boys talk about sportsmanship before starting the races.
Here are the six cars that were in it. Jacob's was definitely not the fastest, but he had a good time. The track was pretty primitive, but that didn't seem to matter to the boys.
